At several McDonald's restaurants in the Netherlands you can download Bluetooth coupons on your mobile phone with discount on several products. The daily reach is around 100-200 per restaurant. An average of 15% decides to do a purchase based on this download. With a button on the check-out system they can monitor the success of each campaign.
The restaurants can create and change the campaigns themselves. OneSixty created a special content generator for the McDonald's which allows them to select the type of discount, expiration date and any other additional information. The system them generates the content and matches them automatically to the handset database. Within less than a minute they can create content and change a campaign.
